Linear Ball Bearings

Linear Ball Bearings from PBC Linear® with a low coefficient of friction, ideal for high-speed applications. Featuring an outer ring, steel balls, and a polymer cage within a heat-treated alloy steel shell, these bearings ensure durability and quieter operation through a resin retainer, with double seals included as standard at no extra cost. Available in closed, open and adjustable designs, they come in Inch Series (1/4" to 2" ID) and Metric Series (8mm to 50mm ID), with static load capacities up to 1700 lb (7900 N) and dynamic load capacities up to 850 lb (3800 N). Size interchangeable with industry standards and the Simplicity® plain linear bearing series, they offer versatile integration as standard bearings, pillow blocks, or flanged mounts, often with double sized variants. Operating reliably in temperatures from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C), these bearings handle cantilevered loads better than plain bearings, as the 2:1 rule applies to the latter.
