Linear Ball Bearings

Linear ball bearings are rolling-element bearings that use recirculating hardened steel balls to move and accurately position loads along round shafts with low friction at high speeds. Unlike plain linear bearings that rely on sliding contact, linear ball bearings support longer strokes and cantilevered loads without the 2:1 binding ratio limitation of plain bearings.

PBC Linear ball bearings feature heat-treated alloy steel outer shells for durability, precision steel balls for low-friction travel, and molded polymer resin retainers that guide ball recirculation while reducing operating noise. Standard double seals help retain lubrication and protect the internal rolling elements from contaminants.
