Thin Wall Linear Ball Bearing
Ways to Order
Thin-wall linear ball bushings are compact metric linear ball bearings designed for low-friction travel on round linear shafts where space is limited. The KHP Series uses recirculating ball circuits within a slim cylindrical shell, providing a smaller, lighter alternative to traditional linear ball bearings while still delivering smooth, precise shaft-guided motion. As shown by the open ball tracks in the bearing body, the design uses a heat-treated alloy steel shell for durability and exposed recirculating ball paths to support efficient load-carrying motion. A polymer resin retainer helps guide the balls while reducing operating noise and friction, making these bushings well suited for compact automation, packaging, medical, laboratory, and light industrial applications. Available in metric ID sizes from 6 mm to 50 mm, KHP thin-wall linear ball bushings support static load capacities up to 6,300 N (1,400 lb) and dynamic load capacities up to 5,500 N (1,200 lb). Their thin-wall construction helps conserve space while providing the speed, durability, and low-friction performance expected from recirculating linear ball bearing systems.
