Square Flanged Linear Ball Bearings
Ways to Order
Standard-sized square flanged linear ball bearings combine secure end-mounting with compact construction and low-friction recirculating ball motion for smooth, high-speed linear travel. The square flange provides a stable mounting surface against a machine frame or plate, while the bearing body supports multi-directional loading and allows easy interchange with industry-standard designs. PBC Linear® square flanged linear ball bearings feature a heat-treated alloy steel shell, recirculating steel balls, quiet polymer cage, resin retainer, and double seals for enhanced durability. Available in ISO Metric and JIS Metric sizing with ID sizes from 8 mm to 50 mm and Inch sizes from 3/8" to 2", they offer static load capacities up to 7,900 N or 1,700 lb, dynamic load capacities up to 3,800 N or 850 lb, and reliable operation from -4°F to 176°F or -20°C to 80°C. Size interchangeable with industry standards and the Simplicity® series, these bearings can outperform plain bearings in cantilevered applications where overhung loads or offset drive forces may trigger the restrictive 2:1 binding rule for plain bearings.
