Flanged Linear Ball Bearings

Flanged linear ball bearing assemblies combine an aluminum mounting flange with an integrated rolling-element recirculating ball bearing, giving the assembly a bolt-on face for secure attachment to a machine frame or plate. The rolling-element bearing design makes these assemblies better suited than plain bearings for higher speeds, longer strokes, and overhanging cantilevered loads where the 2:1 binding rule can be a concern. PBC Linear flanged linear ball bearings use heat-treated alloy steel shells, hardened steel balls, resin retainers for reduced noise, and standard double seals to help protect against contaminants. Available in metric and JIS sizes from 8mm to 50mm ID, these bearings are exclusively close-shelled and are offered with round or square flanges and double-size end-mount and center-mount designs.
