Size interchangeable with industry standards and PBC Linear®’s Simplicity® plain linear bearing series, these flanged ball bearings incorporate a heat-treated alloy steel shell, steel balls, and a polymer cage for smooth, accurate motion with minimal friction, complemented by a resin retainer for quieter operation and double seals for increased longevity. Offered in Metric and JIS sizing with ID sizes from 8 mm to 50 mm, they deliver static load capacities up to 15,900 N (3,500 lb), dynamic load capacities up to 6,000 N (1,300 lb), and static moment capacities up to 399 Nm (290 ft-lb). With reliable performance from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C), these bearings excel in managing cantilevered loads compared to plain bearings, where the 2:1 binding rule applies, making them well-suited for many high-speed, low-friction applications.
