Square Flanged Linear Ball Bearings - Double Sized, Center Mount
Ways to Order
Double-sized linear ball bearings with a square center flange combine the capacity of two standard-sized bearings mounted back to back with balanced four-bolt mounting at the center of the extended shell. The double-size construction increases load capacity and resistance to moment loading, while the square flange provides secure alignment with machine frames and mounting surfaces. Available in metric and JIS metric sizes from 8 mm to 50 mm ID, these PBC Linear bearings feature a heat-treated alloy steel shell, recirculating hardened steel balls, and a quiet resin retainer. Their low coefficient of friction supports smooth, high-speed travel. Linear ball bearings also perform well in cantilevered applications because they handle overhung loads and offset drive forces without the same restrictive 2:1 binding limitation that applies to plain bearings.
- Double size is equivalent to two standard-sized linear ball bearings mounted back to back
- Square center flange provides balanced four-bolt mounting
- Higher load capacity and resistance to moment loading
- ID sizes range from 1/4" to 2" and 8 mm to 50 mm
- Available in inch, metric, and JIS metric sizing
- Static load capacities up to 15,900 N (3,500 lb)
- Dynamic load capacities up to 6,000 N (1,300 lb)
- Static moment capacities up to 399 Nm (290 ft-lb)
- Size interchangeable with industry standards and corresponding Simplicity® series bearings
- Low coefficient of friction supports smooth, high-speed linear motion
- Heat-treated alloy steel shell provides durability
- Recirculating hardened steel balls provide responsive linear travel
- Resin retainer helps reduce operating noise
- Performs well in cantilevered applications with overhung or offset loads
- Not restricted by the same 2:1 binding limitation as plain bearings
