Round Flanged Linear Ball Bearings
Ways to Order
Round flanged linear ball bearings combine compact, easy-to-align mounting with smooth motion in cantilevered applications. The circular flange rotates easily into position, avoids corner interference in tight spaces, and distributes mounting stress evenly around the flange. Available in Inch, ISO Metric, and JIS Metric sizing, these standard single-size PBC Linear® flanged linear ball bearings feature heat-treated alloy steel shells, quiet resin retainers, and low-friction recirculating ball motion. ID sizes range from 8 mm to 50 mm and 1/4" to 1", with static load capacities up to 7,900 N or 1,700 lb and dynamic load capacities up to 3,800 N or 850 lb. They are size interchangeable with industry standards and corresponding Simplicity® series bearings. Linear ball bearings are often preferred in cantilevered applications where overhung loads or offset drive forces may cause plain bearings to bind under the restrictive 2:1 rule. Their recirculating ball design supports smooth, high-speed travel with less friction in these demanding offset-load arrangements.
- Round flange rotates easily into position without corner alignment
- No flange corners, helping the bearing fit into tighter spaces with less interference
- Even stress distribution around the circular flange mounting surface
- ID sizes range from 8 mm to 50 mm and 1/4" to 1"
- Available in Inch, ISO Metric, and JIS Metric sizing options
- Static load capacities up to 7,900 N or 1,700 lb
- Dynamic load capacities up to 3,800 N or 850 lb
- Size interchangeable with industry standards and with Simplicity series bearings
- Low coefficient of friction for smooth, high-speed linear motion
- Heat-treated alloy steel shell provides durability
- Quiet resin retainer helps reduce operating noise
- Recirculating ball design can outperform plain bearings in cantilevered applications affected by the restrictive 2:1 binding rule for plain bearings
