Twin Linear Ball Bearing JPFC40G 40mm JIS Metric - Round Flanged Center Mount

Twin-sized, round-flanged linear ball bearing of JIS 40 mm ID, center mount, with a long heat-treated alloy steel shell for durability and standard double seals for added protection. The double design is equivalent to two standard linear ball bearings mounted back to back, while the center flange provides balanced mounting and greater resistance to moment loading. A low coefficient of friction supports smooth, high-speed travel, and the resin retainer polymer cage helps reduce operating noise. Linear ball bearings excel in cantilevered applications because they can keep moving smoothly when the load hangs far out from the bearing, while plain bearings may bind under the 2:1 ratio.

  • JIS Metric (Japanese Industrial Standards) for various machines made in Asia
  • Double size is the equivalent of two standard-sized bearings mounted back to back
  • Round Center Mount Flange
  • Temperature Range: -4/+176°F (-20/+80°C)
  • Static Load Capacities: Up to 1700 lb (7900 N)
  • Dynamic Load Capacities: Up to 850 lb (3800 N)
  • Size interchangeable with industry standards and our Simplicity plain linear bearings
  • Low Coefficient of Friction: Ensures smooth operation
  • Heat Treated Alloy Steel Shell: Provides durability
  • Resin Retainer Polymer Cage: Reduces noise
  • Double Seals: Included as standard at no additional cost
