Lead Screws with Triangle Nuts
Ways to Order
Triangle nut lead screw assemblies are used when the nut needs flat mounting faces and a compact, stable shape that is easier to fasten or orient than a round nut but less bulky than a rectangular nut. Both the TS Series standard triangular nut assemblies and the TCF Series Constant Force™ anti-backlash assemblies use coated, precision-rolled 300 Series stainless steel lead screws and PTFE-infused polymer nuts to reduce friction and flaking while providing maintenance-free linear motion without motors. The TCF Series adds Constant Force™ anti-backlash technology, which applies consistent radial pressure to maintain thread engagement and reduce backlash by 2–4× for more stable positioning over the life of the assembly. CNC roll threading delivers standard lead accuracy of 0.003"/ft (76 µm/300 mm), typically 2–3× better than competing products, and machined journals are available to suit application requirements.
- Offered with standard or anti-backlash nut
- Machined journals available to suit application requirements
- Special PTFE nut formulation for self-lubrication
- Constant Force Technology offers greater than 2 times superior backlash compensation
- Optional PTFE coating lowers friction and increases efficiency
- CNC Roll Threading allows for standard accuracies 2-3 times better than the competition
