Linear Bearings

Linear bearings from PBC Linear include plain linear bearings for maintenance-free, self-lubricating motion, linear ball bearings for high-speed, low-friction performance, and cam roller pillow blocks for heavy-load, long-travel durability along round or square shafts or profiled rails. Simplicity® plain linear bearings use FrelonGold® PTFE liners to deliver consistent low-friction operation in harsh environments, including extreme heat, dirt, debris, and vibration. Round shaft plain bearings support rotary, linear, and oscillating motion, while square shaft versions support linear and oscillating motion only. They are available in standard, twin-size, flanged, and pillow block designs, including thin-walled, sleeve bushing, and die set variants. Linear ball bearings feature a heat-treated outer ring, quiet resin retainer, and recirculating steel balls to enable higher speeds and eliminate the 2:1 binding limitation of plain bearings in cantilevered applications. They are available in standard, twin-sized, flanged, and pillow block housings. Cam roller pillow blocks use open housing designs with single, double, or twin sets of coated steel cam rollers for heavy-duty performance along rail-supported round shafts. All linear bearings match standard shaft sizes in inch, metric, and JIS.

Specifications for Roller Bearing Pillow Blocks:

• Use a floating "F" part number for each opposing block on parallel shafts to accommodate imperfect alignments.
• A set of opposing roller bearings consists of 1 fixed side roller, 1 eccentric side roller (to account for any misalignment) and a top support roller
• FUBK Series replacement kits include one new roller for each of the three in a set
• Order two replacement kits to cover more than one set of opposing bearings
