Single Roller Bearing Pillow Blocks (SPB Series) are linear bearing assemblies with one set of three opposing cam rollers that travel along a continuously supported round shaft. The roller set includes a fixed side roller, an adjustable eccentric side roller, and a top support roller, helping maintain shaft contact while accommodating minor alignment variation. The housing is open underneath to clear the shaft support rail, allowing SPB pillow blocks to travel smoothly across long or joined rail assemblies.
Compared with linear ball bearings, the larger rolling contact area can provide lower friction, quieter operation, and substantially higher load capacity. SPB pillow blocks are available for shaft diameters from 0.5 in to 3.0 in, with inch and metric sizes designed around common industry mounting standards. The rollers can also push contaminants aside or roll over small debris rather than recirculating it through the bearing, making the design well suited for dirty industrial environments. Depending on the part number, options may include lubrication ports (TG), copper scrapers (S), or linear carriage locks (LCL).
