Roller Bearing Pillow Block Bearing

Single Linear Roller Bearing Pillow Blocks

Single Roller Bearing Pillow Blocks (SPB Series) are high-load-capacity linear bearings with a robust housing and one set of three opposing rollers that grip the shaft from both sides and the top. One side roller is eccentric, allowing adjustment for shaft misalignment while supporting smoother, faster travel with reduced vibration. Compared with linear ball bearings, the larger rolling contact surface provides lower friction, quieter operation, and up to 8× more load capacity, with ratings up to 12,500 lb. (55,602 N). SPB pillow blocks are available in inch and metric sizes interchangeable with industry standards for shaft diameters from 0.5" to 3.0". They navigate joined shafts and rail assemblies with ease, and in dirty environments the roller bearings can push particulates aside or roll over them instead of jamming. Part numbers may indicate lubrication ports (TG), optional copper scrapers (S) for dirt and debris, or linear carriage locks (LCL).
