Linear Motion Products - Celebrating 40+ Years of Solutions

In 2023, PBC Linear marks 40 years of engineering linear motion solutions. One important and well recognized area of our success comes from our solutions-driven approach to business. For example, during our first decade of production, the Simplicity product line quickly expanded to include pillow blocks, linear slides, and optimized shafting. These plain bearings all share our patented Frelon liner technology and remain popular products to this day. As PBC Linear has continued to grow, we have either refined or added to our family of products, responding to customer application demands by providing ball and roller type bearings, screw-driven technology, and sophisticated mechatronics.

In an evolving market, a collaborative team of problem solvers is key to finding the best solutions for unique customer applications. While we offer customers thousands of product options, sometimes an application requires slight design modifications to fit specific needs. For example, a customer might need Redi-Rail in different lengths, or a support rail with a unique set of mounting holes. In cases such as these, a customer may consult with one of our Application Engineers to make minor adjustments to one of our standard products. The result is a custom product that offers the best fit for a unique, successful application.

Of course, it takes a great in-house team of contributors with acute knowledge and experience to create the necessary solutions that customers need. The team includes the collective expertise and creativity of our application engineers, machinists, machine operators, and those watching for emerging markets on the horizon.
