V-wheels are grooved cam roller bearings that run along V-shaped linear rails, or V-rails, to carry loads and provide smooth, low-friction motion along a single axis. Their V-shaped geometry helps the wheel stay aligned on the rail while resisting debris, contamination, and minor misalignment, making V-wheel guide systems a durable choice for demanding linear motion environments.
V-Guide Linear Guides pair precision V-wheel roller bearings with matching steel V-rails to create rugged, easy-to-install linear guide systems. The V-wheels are manufactured from 52100 bearing steel or 420 stainless steel and use a precision dual-row angular contact design for strong load support, smooth travel, and long service life. They can be permanently sealed and lubricated, with 304 stainless steel or nitrile rubber seal options available for added protection.
The V-Guide system is available in four standard wheel diameters: 20, 30, 45, and 60 mm. Matching standard or eccentric bushings allow for proper preload and adjustment, while the included V-rails are offered in 1045 carbon steel, with or without black oxide finish, or 400 series stainless steel. Continuous rail lengths are available up to 6,000 mm, or 19.7 ft. Make sure to purchase bushings with v-wheels as they are sold separately in our store.
As complete V-wheel, bushing and V-rail guide systems, V-Guide Linear Guides are compatible with a range of track forms, including internal and external 90-degree ways, round shafts, and angle iron. This versatility, combined with durable materials and straightforward installation, makes them well suited for linear motion applications exposed to dirt, debris, washdown, or harsh operating conditions.
