Linear Guides

Linear guides are mechanical component systems that enable precise linear motion for various loads, utilizing carriages on rails, shafts, or raceways. PBC Linear offers 3 main types. Self-lubricating gliding-surface guides use FrelonGold® liners to slide a carriage smoothly under harsh conditions like extreme heat, dirt, or vibration. V-groove guides use V-wheels on carriages that roll along V-rails or may ride along precisely machined raceways, making them easy to install for applications such as 3D printers, gantries, and assembly lines. Cam roller linear guides use rolling-element carriages on hardened or machined raceways to support higher speeds and heavier loads, with options ranging from compact industrial assemblies to heavy-duty systems like Hevi-Rail® that use case-hardened steel rollers on robust rails for material-handling and factory-automation applications
