Belt-driven linear actuators of the MTB Series include a recirculating ball profile rail guide with two runner blocks per carriage and an adjustable belt tension system, making them suitable for fast, long-travel applications with heavy loads. Unlike the MTS screw-driven actuator series, which is better suited for higher thrust and more precise positioning, the MTB Series is designed for speed, stroke length, and efficient belt-driven motion. Compared with covered or enclosed MTE-style configurations, MTB actuators provide an open, lightweight belt-driven platform for applications where easy access, long travel, and high-speed movement are priorities. Designed for high-speed positioning and repeatable motion, MTB actuators use a steel-reinforced belt drive inside a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum profile to support smooth travel while helping reduce friction, noise, and vibration. The integrated profile rail guide uses recirculating ball runner blocks to provide rigid carriage support, smooth travel, and strong load capacity during high-speed, long-stroke motion. Adjustable belt tension helps maintain performance over time and supports consistent motion across extended travel lengths.
Available in carriage and rail cross sections from 60 mm x 42 mm to 133 mm x 105 mm, MTB belt-driven linear actuators support maximum horizontal payloads up to 7,500 N (1,686 lb) and stroke lengths up to 6,700 mm (263.78 in). Male and female shaft options are available in various diameters to support flexible drive integration, while the lightweight aluminum construction provides corrosion resistance and easier installation in automation, packaging, material handling, gantry systems, pick-and-place equipment, and other industrial motion systems.
