Rectangle nut lead screw assemblies are offered in both standard and anti-backlash configurations, with PTFE-coated, CNC roll-threaded stainless steel lead screws and self-lubricating Frelon® composite nuts available across the series. The coating helps lower friction and reduce flaking, while the nut formulation supports maintenance-free motion and excellent wear resistance. The VS Series uses a standard rectangular polymer nut, while the VCF Series uses the same nut with Constant Force™ anti-backlash technology, which applies consistent radial pressure to maintain thread engagement and reduce backlash by 2–4× for more stable positioning over the life of the assembly. CNC roll threading delivers lead accuracy typically 2–3× better than competing products, and machined journals are available to suit application requirements.
