Thin-head Torx fastener screw for 28mm-wide linear guide systems, designed as a low-profile six-point star-drive screw for mounting counterbored steel rails in the Steel Rail Standard and Steel Rail Plus series. A Torx fastener uses a star-shaped recess to transfer torque efficiently while reducing cam-out, the tendency of a driver to slip or be forced out of the screw head under load. The low-profile head sits flush within the rail to provide secure clamping without interfering with carriage travel in tight-clearance applications. These fasteners are M5 × 0.8 with a 10mm head diameter and are well suited for fastening into threaded steel rail assemblies.
