Steel Rail Plus linear guide systems from PBC Linear are designed to solve misalignment challenges in parallel rail applications. They feature cold-drawn, zinc-plated steel rails up to 5,000 mm and aluminum carriages equipped with 3 to 6 concentric and eccentric cam rollers. Three carriage types—guiding, floating, and rotating—allow for automatic alignment across two planes: the guiding carriage defines the motion path and carries the primary load, the floating carriage permits slight lateral movement to absorb rail spacing errors, and the rotating carriage allows limited angular adjustment to compensate for rails that are not perfectly parallel or entirely on the same plane.
