Ball Bearing or Gliding Surface
Slew ring bearings are large-diameter rotational bearings designed to support axial, radial, and moment loads while enabling smooth rotation between two structures. Slew ring bearings are available in two types: ball bearing and self-lubricating gliding surface, with outer diameters ranging from 80 mm to 310 mm.
Ball bearing slewing rings provide maximum load capacity, making them well suited for higher-load and heavy-duty applications. Self-lubricating slew ring bearings incorporate polymer-lined gliding surfaces to enable maintenance-free operation, ideal for environments where regular lubrication is impractical or undesirable.
These slewing bearings are used across precision and industrial systems including solar tracking systems, medical devices, robotics, radar systems, and satellite antennas, where reliable rotational performance and long service life are critical.
