Thin Wall Plain Linear Bearing FGC08 8mm FAG Interchange, Compensated

FAG-interchange plain linear bearing, closed-shell, with an 8mm compensated ID (inner diameter) that provides a 0.0015" running clearance per side on matching round shafts. This compact thin-wall bearing, sized to FAG interchange dimensions, is encased in a thin-wall anodized aluminum outer shell and features a bonded Simplicity® self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® bore liner for oil-free, maintenance-free linear, rotational, and oscillating motion in harsh environments such as extreme temperatures, dirt, contamination, washdowns, vibration, and shock loads, where ball bearings often fail because of lubricant loss, corrosion, debris ingress, or brinelling, also known as raceway denting damage.

  • ISO metric compact thin-wall plain linear bearing for round shafts
  • FAG interchange dimensions
  • Anodized aluminum outer shell closed for end supported shafts
  • Compensated running clearance: 0.0015" per side
  • Self-lubricating Simplicity® FrelonGOLD® bore liner for harsh envionments
  • Optional liners: corrosive chemical proof Frelon®J & FDA Compliant Frelon®W
  • Product variant ID sizes: 6 mm to 50 mm, ISO metric only
  • Static load capacities up to 92 kN (20,000 lbs)
  • Temperature rating: -400°F to 400°F (-240°C to 204°C)
  • Maximum speed: up to 8 m/s (315 in/s)
  • Shaft lengths: up to 12 ft
  • Self-lubricating for oil-free operation
  • Vibration damping for smooth, quiet operation
