Sleeve bearings, also known as sleeve bushings, are engineered to promote smooth rotational or linear movement by minimizing friction between rotating or sliding shafts and other machinery parts. Our regular or flanged bushings feature a compact design, making them ideal for tight spaces, and they excel in performance thanks to the renowned self-lubricating FrelonGold® liner, which functions effectively under extreme conditions, including heat, dirt, and constant vibration. The standard shell material is aluminum, while FDA-compliant stainless steel bearing shells are also available. Optional liners include Frelon®J for corrosive chemical environments and Frelon®W, which meets FDA compliance.
