Self-lubricating Simplicity® plain linear bearings in round-flanged, solid-steel die set mounts are preassembled units for die set, press, stamping, and tooling applications. Regular-sized versions feature the round flange at the end, while twin-sized versions place the round flange in the center for added bearing length and support. The rigid round-flanged steel mount provides secure installation and alignment support, while the inserted bearing delivers a low-friction running surface for smooth motion along round shafting. The bearing uses a bonded-in Frelon® liner, standardly equipped with FrelonGOLD® for maintenance-free operation. Available only in inch sizes ranging from 25.4 mm (1 in) to 50.8 mm (2 in) inner diameter, these assemblies are offered exclusively with round flanges. These mounted plain bearing assemblies are available with precision or compensated ID running clearances. They support static load capacities up to 50,000 lb (222,000 N) and include seal options in nitrile rubber, urethane, or Viton®. An external lubrication feature is also available as an option. The self-aligning mount helps compensate for misalignment, supporting smooth, repeatable motion in demanding die set applications.
