Plain Linear Bearing - FLA48 3.00″ Self-Aligning Crowned OD
Closed self-aligning plain linear bearing with a 3" precision ID which has a 0.0005" running clearance per side. The crowned anodized aluminum shell has a slightly curved outside diameter that lets the bearing seat at a corrective angle inside a compatible pillow block, mounted housing, or machined bore. This self-aligning action helps compensate for minor angular misalignment between parallel shafts, reducing the risk of binding when the shaft and housing are not perfectly aligned. A bonded, self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® liner supports maintenance-free linear, rotational, and oscillating motion without grease in harsh environments where extreme temperatures, dirt, vibration, shock loads, contamination, or washdowns can make rolling element bearings harder to maintain.
