Plain linear bearings are precision-bored linear motion components that use a bonded, self-lubricating liner in the bore to provide low-friction, maintenance-free guidance along round or square shafts or profiled rails. Simplicity® Plain Linear Bearing variants feature a FrelonGOLD® PTFE-based liner that minimizes friction and wear, eliminates external lubrication, and delivers long-lasting performance in harsh, hot, or dirty environments. Available configurations include standalone bearings, sleeve bearings, flanged bearings, and pillow block mounted bearings. Standalone variants are offered with straight or crowned anodized aluminum shells in open or closed styles. Sleeve bearings are available in straight or flanged designs, while pillow block assemblies and aluminum flanged mounts are offered in standard or double-size housings, open or closed. Optional Frelon® J liners provide resistance to corrosive chemicals, and Frelon® W liners ensure FDA-compliant performance. All variants are available with precision or compensated running clearances and support rotary, linear, or oscillating motion. ID sizes are in inch, ISO Metric, and JIS. The 2:1 binding rule applies.
