Flanged Plain Linear Bearings - Simplicity®

Simplicity plain flanged linear bearings are self-lubricating linear motion components with a FrelonGOLD® liner bonded directly to a square or round flanged aluminum alloy housing, so the lined housing itself acts as the bearing surface rather than containing a separate bearing insert. This compact, rigid design provides smooth, low-friction travel without external lubrication and is well suited for harsh conditions such as extreme heat, dirt, vibration, contamination, washdown exposure, and high-downtime replacement applications. Flanged styles include square and round mounting options in standard and double-wide designs, with double-wide versions providing a longer bearing surface for added support. These bearings are available in metric and JIS sizes from 8mm to 80mm, with precision running clearance (0.0005" per side) and compensated running clearance (0.0015" per side) options to match shaft fit to application needs. Optional liner materials include corrosion-resistant Frelon® J for 300 series stainless steel shafting and FDA-compliant Frelon® W for food, packaging, medical, and washdown environments. Static loads are supported up to 241,000 N (54,000 lb).
