Linear Ball Bearing Pillow Blocks - Closed Single
Closed-shell, single sized linear ball bearing pillow blocks from PBC Linear® provide precise, high-speed linear motion for compact, robust applications. Featuring a heat-treated alloy steel shell, steel balls, and a polymer cage, these bearings deliver smooth operation with a low coefficient of friction, enhanced by a resin retainer for reduced noise and double seals for durability. Available in inch (0.25 in to 2 in) and metric (8 mm to 50 mm) sizing, they offer static load capacities up to 1,700 lb (7,900 N) and dynamic load capacities up to 850 lb (3,800 N). Size interchangeable with industry standards and the Simplicity® series, they are also offered in a Precision Plus variant for self-aligning capabilities, ensuring versatility in automation and machinery setups. These bearings perform well from -4°F to 176°F (-20°C to 80°C). Cantilevered loads are managed more effectively by these pillow blocks compared to plain bearings, as the 2:1 binding rule applies to the latter.
