Open plain linear bearing with an 8mm ISO Metric precision ID which has a 0.0005" running clearance per side on round shafts. The open shell design provides clearance for rail-supported shafting or profiled rails, while the bonded, self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® liner facilitates maintenance-free linear, rotational, and oscillating motion without grease. Built for harsh environments where extreme temperatures, dirt, welding splatter, vibration, shock loads, contamination, or washdowns can make rolling element bearings harder to maintain, it is especially valuable in hard-to-access machines where downtime is costly.
