Open Plain Linear Bearings, self-lubricating and designed for use on rail-supported shafting that enhances system rigidity. These open-shelled bearings are available in inch (3/16” to 4”), metric (5mm to 80mm), and JIS sizes. With static load capacities reaching up to 166,000 lb (740 kN), they feature optional FrelonGOLD® liners (as well as Frelon® J or W), operate in any orientation, and can withstand temperatures from -400°F to +400°F (-240°C to 204°C). They achieve maximum speeds of 8 m/s (315 in/s) and offer standard or compensated ID clearances, along with standard or self-aligning OD to prevent binding. Constructed from anodized aluminum or stainless steel, they include various seal options (nitrile, urethane, viton). Mounting options feature O-ring and retaining ring grooves, making them interchangeable with linear ball bearings and certain bronze bushings.
