Linear Ball Bearing Pillow Block IPPSN32G 2″ ID Open, Self Aligning, Lubrication Port

Linear ball bearing pillow block, open, with a 2" self-aligning open-shelled ball bearing mounted inside an aluminum alloy housing. The bearing itself is self-aligning, using an internal ball-track design to accommodate minor shaft and housing misalignment, while the open configuration allows use with rail-supported shafts or profiled rails. A side-mounted grease zerk fitting provides convenient lubrication access. Interchangeable with industry-standard dimensions, the bearing features a heat-treated alloy steel shell, recirculating hardened steel balls, a low coefficient of friction for smooth, high-speed motion, and a resin retainer polymer cage to reduce noise. Linear ball bearings perform well in cantilevered applications because they handle overhung loads and offset drive forces without the same 2:1 binding limitation that applies to plain bearings.

  • Grease zerk fitting lubrication port on the side
  • Temperature Range: -4/+176°F (-20/+80°C)
  • Variant ID Sizes: Available from 1/4" to 2” Inch Series
  • Double Seals: Included as standard at no additional cost
  • Low Coefficient of Friction: Ensures smooth operation
  • Heat Treated Alloy Steel Shell: Provides durability
  • Resin Retainer Polymer Cage: Reduces noise
  • Tolerance of +/- 0.001 inches
