Linear Ball Bearing Pillow Block IPPS32G 2″ ID Self-Aligning, Lubrication Port
Linear ball bearing pillow block with a 2" ID self-aligning closed-shell ball bearing mounted inside an aluminum alloy housing. The bearing itself is self-aligning, using an internal ball-track design to accommodate minor shaft and housing misalignment. A side-mounted grease zerk fitting provides convenient lubrication access. Interchangeable with industry-standard dimensions, the bearing features a heat-treated alloy steel shell, recirculating hardened steel balls, a low coefficient of friction for smooth, high-speed motion, and a resin retainer polymer cage to reduce noise. Linear ball bearings perform well in cantilevered applications because they handle overhung loads and offset drive forces without the same 2:1 binding limitation that applies to plain bearings.
