Telescopic forks are extendable linear rail assemblies that reach into a storage position, engage a load, and retract it back to the carriage. Each fork pairs two nested telescoping rails so the fingers can travel out from the base, under or around a tote or container, and pull it back in a single controlled motion. The telescopic fork from PBC Linear extends and retracts in both directions from the carriage rather than from one fixed end.
The Steel Telescopic Fork (STF) Series is built on the same telescoping rail platform behind our SDP rail line, applied to a complete pick-and-place fork. Each STF assembly combines two SDP telescoping rails with a compact aluminum-alloy and formed-steel fork structure, giving shuttle vehicles, container-storage AGVs, and lightweight stackers a lightweight, high-rigidity way to reach into a storage position without moving the whole vehicle. STF is available in three configurations, Single Depth, Double Depth, and Adjustable Depth, and can be ordered with or without an integrated 400W AC servo motor.
All STF forks are built on the same high-quality platform:

- Aluminum-alloy and formed hardened-steel construction for a compact, lightweight structure
- Bidirectional extension - every fork extends and retracts both directions from the carriage

This common platform lets engineers pick the fork configuration that matches their tote size and storage layout, single depth, double depth, or adjustable width from 200–600 mm, without changing the rail technology, motor option, or mounting approach.
