Miniature Linear Rail Guides - Mini-Rail® Slides
Miniature linear rails are components of compact linear guide systems that include a carriage and carry loads with precise straight-line motion on one axis with a single degree of freedom using sliding contact or rolling elements. Sliding contact is the focus of the Mini-Rail line at PBC Linear. The rails are made of ceramic-coated aluminum and pair with anodized aluminum carriages underlined with self-lubricating FrelonGOLD®, creating a smooth gliding surface with no metal on metal contact, known as Gliding Surface Technology™ (GST). These guides require minimal maintenance and are suited for dirty and high-temperature environments. Rails and carriages are dimensionally interchangeable with industry-standard sizes and are stocked for quick delivery. Available in five rail widths—7, 9, 12, 15, and 20 mm—and rail lengths up to 3600 mm (141.7 in), Mini-Rail guides offer a small footprint with corrosion resistance. The absence of rolling elements reduces the risk of catastrophic failure and improves performance under vibration and shock.

Miniature linear rails are components of compact linear guide systems that include a carriage and carry loads with precise straight-line motion on one axis with a single degree of freedom using sliding contact or rolling elements. Sliding contact is the focus of the Mini-Rail line at PBC Linear. Precision carriages are normally sold in conjunction with rail and fitted to each other. There is no guarantee of fit with existing carriage and is non-returnable.
