Linear Ball Bearing IP08G-OP 1/2″ Open

Linear ball bearing, open shelled, with a 1/2" inner diameter (ID). The open design allows use with supported shafting while the ball bearing design provides smooth, accurate linear motion with a low coefficient of friction. It offers an advantage in cantilevered applications where plain bearings may be limited by the 2:1 binding rule. The heat-treated alloy steel shell provides durability, the balls deliver speed, and the polymer resin retainer guides ball movement while reducing noise. Includes double seals.

  • Open shell for use with rail supported round shafts
  • Temperature Range: -4/+176°F (-20/+80°C)
  • Variant ID Sizes: Available from 1/4" to 2” Inch Series
  • Double Seals: Included at no additional cost
  • Low Coefficient of Friction: Ensures smooth operation
  • Heat Treated Alloy Steel Shell: Provides durability
  • Resin Retainer Polymer Cage: Reduces noise
