Double-sized linear ball bearing, JIS 8mm ID round-flange center mount, with a long heat-treated alloy steel shell for durability, higher load capacity, and improved resistance to moment loading. The double-sized design is equivalent to two standard linear ball bearings mounted back to back, while the center flange provides balanced mounting. Standard double seals add protection, a low coefficient of friction supports smooth, high-speed travel, and the resin retainer polymer cage helps reduce noise. Like other linear ball bearings, it performs well in cantilevered applications because the recirculating ball design handles overhung loads and offset drive forces without the same 2:1 binding limitation that applies to plain bearings.
