Ball Screw Linear Actuators with Flanged Nuts and NEMA Motors
Ways to Order
Ball screw linear actuators with rectangular flanged nuts are motor-driven devices that convert rotary motion into precise linear movement using a ball screw, factory-integrated with NEMA 08, 11, 14, 17, and 23 motors. The rectangular flanged nut provides a flat mounting surface for direct attachment to plates or blocks, offering secure positioning and improved resistance to rotation. Actuators are available in five metric screw sizes defined by diameter and lead and utilize a multi-line ball return system. The actuators support static axial loads up to 2.144 kN (482 lb). Polymer wipers at each end of the nut help prevent ingress of debris and particulates. Standard backlash is held to a maximum of 0.05 mm, with an optional preload feature available to increase rigidity and improve positional accuracy.
- Five frame sizes: NEMA 08/11/14/17/23
- Static axial load: 2.144 kN (482 lb)
- Polymer wipers located at each end of the nut help prevent the ingress of debris and particulates
- Preload option for higher rigidity and better positional accuracy
