Linear slide with a 1000mm-long, 40mm-tall hard-coat anodized aluminum rail and a 100mm carriage for moving and accurately positioning loads. The underside of the carriage features a self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® PTFE-based polymer liner that glides along the rail's angled surfaces, providing smooth, maintenance-free motion without metal-on-metal contact. This Gliding Surface Technology (GST) dampens vibration, absorbs shock loads, and reduces friction and wear without extra lubrication. The rigid aluminum rail maintains alignment under heavy loads, while the plain bearing design resists dirt, dust, and temperature extremes. Its clean-running, lubricant-free construction is suitable for cleanrooms, washdown environments, and industrial automation applications. Unlike rolling-element bearings, the plain bearing design has no recirculating balls that can jam or fail catastrophically.
