Uni-Guide Linear Slide Overview

The system uses a simple two-piece rail-and-carriage design with dual parallel shaft surfaces machined into one aluminum rail, helping eliminate the alignment challenges that often come with multi-component linear guide systems.

Instead of rolling elements, Uni-Guide uses Simplicity® plain bearing technology with a self-lubricating Frelon® liner bonded into the carriage. This gliding surface design provides quiet, maintenance-free linear motion with no metal-to-metal contact, while helping dampen vibration, absorb shock loads, and tolerate contamination better than many traditional ball-bearing guide systems.
