Plain Linear Bearing CFPMR08C 8mm ID - Round Flange Center, Double Wide, Compensated ID

Double plain linear bearing, 8mm ID, round center flange, compensated running clearance. This Simplicity® bearing has a self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® liner bonded directly to the bore of a sturdy aluminum body, with no separate insert, for maintenance-free, oil-free sliding in extreme conditions such as high temperatures, welding splatter, dirt, and vibration, where ball bearings often fail. Its double-length body equals two standard bearings back-to-back for added support, while the flange enables stable bolt-down mounting. Compensated clearance gives a looser fit than precision clearance, favoring speed and smoother travel over the tightest possible shaft fit.

  • ISO Metric - Closed - Round Flanged Center Mount
  • Double sized as if two standard plain linear bearings were joined end to end
  • Compensated running clearance 0.0015" per side
  • Self-Lubricating Liner: FrelonGOLD® performs well in harsh, dirty, shock-loading, or high-temperature environments where ball bearings often fail
  • Optional liners: corrosive chemical resistant Frelon®J & FDA Compliant Frelon®W
  • Temperature Rating: -400°F/+400°F or -240°C/204°C
  • Vibration Damping: Ensures smooth and quiet operation
