Lead screw and belt-driven linear actuators in the UG (SIMO) series are built around a low-part-count extrusion process that machines aluminum rails in a single synchronized pass, reducing components while delivering improved straightness, lower twist, and better flatness at tight tolerances. This integrated approach simplifies assembly and enables a modular platform with consistent geometry across configurations.
The system incorporates either high-speed cam V-rollers (V-wheels on V-rails) or self-lubricating gliding surface slides with a FrelonGOLD® liner between anodized aluminum rails and carriages. Actuators support stepper and servo motors with NEMA 17/23, 40/60 mm, or custom mounts, and are available in low- or tall-profile rail options with cross sections from 24 mm x 73 mm to 40 mm x 100 mm. The series supports payloads up to 1,348 lb (5,996 N) and stroke lengths up to 1,900 mm (74.8 in).
