Twin Roller Pillow Block Bearing TWN-24-OPN-S 1.5″ Shaft Diameter, 2 Scrapers
Twin (TWN) open linear cam roller bearing pillow block (with scrapers at each end) for 1.5" shafts, spanning twice the length of a single unit. This linear bearing uses two sets of three opposing cam roller bearings mounted in an extended housing—effectively two Single Roller Pillow Blocks (SPB) combined into one larger bearing. Unlike the Double (DPB) pillow block, which also has two roller sets, the DPB places them side-by-side within a standard-length housing.
- Scraper mounted to each end made of spring-tempered beryllium copper
- Twin TWN blocks, like the double DPB blocks, have two sets of 3 opposing rollers that double the load capacity of a Single Roller Bearing Pillow Block (SPB) which has just 1 set of 3 opposing rollers
- Each set of roller bearings consists of 1 fixed side roller, 1 eccentric side roller and a top support roller
- Floating pillow blocks should be used for each opposing block when running on parallel shafts
- The opposing eccentric roller compensates for minor misalignment
- Replacement kits of the FUBK Series include just one set of 3 opposing roller bearings, so be sure to buy two FUBK replacement kits for this product and other double or twin roller bearing pillow blocks
