Plain Linear Bearings in Standard Square Flanged Housings
Ways to Order
A single Simplicity™ plain linear bearing inserted into a square flanged mount provides a compact, rigid bearing assembly for linear, rotational, and oscillating motion on round shafting. The square flange mounts directly to a machine plate, frame, or structure, while the inserted bearing creates the bonded internal bore surface that supports the shaft without recirculating balls or other rolling elements.
The inserted bearing features a self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® liner bonded directly to the bearing ID for smooth, maintenance-free motion without metal-on-metal contact. This construction is well suited to demanding applications involving dirt, contamination, vibration, shock, welding splatter, washdowns, extreme heat or cold, and operating conditions where bearing replacement and machine downtime are costly. Optional Frelon® J is available for corrosive chemical environments, while FDA-compliant Frelon® W is available for food and pharmaceutical applications.
