Ground Ball Screws – Flanged Nut
Flanged nut ground ball screws pair a precision-ground ball screw shaft with a ball nut that carries an integral mounting flange on one end. The flange bolts directly to the moving load or carriage, giving designers a simple, rigid mounting interface without the need for a separate adapter bracket. As the screw rotates, recirculating ball bearings drive the nut — and the flange-mounted load — smoothly and precisely along the screw's length.
This collection is available in 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, and 12 mm screw diameters with leads of 1 mm, 2 mm, and 5 mm, giving designers a wide range of speed and resolution combinations. Dynamic load ratings range from 420 N to 2,100 N and static load ratings from 570 N to 4,900 N depending on size. Screws are available in Grade 5 and Grade 3 accuracy classes, with Grade 3 offering tighter lead accuracy for applications where positioning precision is critical.
These ground ball screws are available in overall lengths ranging from 60 mm to 240 mm, with multiple length options offered at each diameter and lead combination to fit a variety of travel requirements.
