Ball screw linear actuators of the MUK Series combine an efficient ball screw drive with two precisely aligned recirculating ball profile rail guideways for high-precision, high-rigidity linear motion in applications with heavy dynamic loads, large moment loads, and demanding positioning requirements. The dual guideway design creates a rigid actuator platform for smooth, accurate, and repeatable travel.
Each MUK actuator uses a compact aluminum profile, with a minimum cross-section of 65 mm x 145 mm, while still supporting horizontal payloads up to 11,200 N (2,517 lb) and stroke lengths up to 1,500 mm (59 in). Single-carriage versions include two bearing blocks, while dual-carriage versions use four bearing blocks for increased load capacity, moment load support, and overall carriage stability.
The recirculating ball profile rail guideways provide high stiffness and precise guidance, making the MUK Series well suited for automation, gantry systems, machine tooling, inspection equipment, and applications where rigidity and repeatability are critical. Standard travel accuracy is Class 7, rated at 52 µm/300 mm, with additional accuracy options available upon consultation.
Designed for long service life and easier integration, the MUK Series includes integrated T-slots for simplified sensor mounting and accessory installation. A built-in lubrication system channels grease directly to the guideway bearings without requiring disassembly, helping reduce maintenance time. Stainless steel scrapers help protect the actuator by sealing out dust and contaminants, supporting reliable performance in industrial environments.
