Pre-drilled linear shaft of 1060 carbon steel, 3/4" diameter, 24" length, made in the USA by PBC Linear® from RC 60 Plus™ case-hardened steel. Rated Class L for the highest level of precision tolerance and standards compliance, the shaft has mounting holes spaced 6" apart, starting 3" from one end. Its hardened surface supports roller bearing pillow blocks, self-lubricating Simplicity® plain linear bearings, and linear ball bearings. The shaft ends are not tapped, meaning they do not contain internal threads for mounting bolts or other threaded fasteners. Length tolerance means the finished shaft may vary by up to +/- 0.03" from the ordered length, regardless of the length ordered. Use the Custom button to request tapped ends or non-standard lengths.
