Small Lead Screw Slide Actuator

Customizable lead-screw driven MR-MS Mini-Rail Linear Actuators combine a compact Mini-Rail linear guide with an attached NEMA 17 high-torque stepper motor, creating a low-cost motorized linear motion solution. Beneath the carriage, self-lubricating FrelonGOLD® liner technology provides maintenance-free, quiet motion with vibration damping and reliable performance in harsh conditions such as extreme heat, dirt, and contamination such as welding droplets.

The MR-MS actuator uses a 304 stainless steel lead screw with PTFE coating to reduce friction and wear, paired with a preloaded polyacetal anti-backlash nut for consistent positioning performance. The MR20 version features an integral lead screw design, while the MR15 version uses a coupling. With fewer parts and a robust construction, the system helps reduce maintenance while supporting dependable operation in compact assemblies.

Available in lengths up to 640 mm with eight lead options, the MR-MS Mini-Rail actuator provides flexible speed, force, and resolution choices for different application requirements. Its NEMA 17 single-stack 42 mm stepper motor delivers high torque in a compact package, making this actuator a practical choice for applications requiring precise motorized linear motion, simple integration, and long-term reliability.
