What is the difference between your GST and PRT options in the Compact Series of actuators?
The GST option utilizes PBC Linear self-lubricating Mini-Rail plain bearing as the linear motion base. This option is good for maintenance-free applications, low-cost, or a dirty operating environment.
The PRT option utilizes a ground profile rail as the linear motion base. This option is good for high precision applications, high speed or a need for rigidity.
How do I mount a PBC LINEAR Compact Series?
The GST option, and PRT uncovered and low-covered option has a 40mm Counter-bored hole pattern in it designed for use with an M3 socket head cap screw.
The PRT tall covered option is mounted with toe clamps.
1 note: the flatter the mounting surface the better the performance of the actuator.
Can I purchase a Compact Series actuator with a motor?
Yes, we offer motors with our integrated lead screws in them, as well as a motor mounting solution that will allow a motor and coupling to be attached.
