Three-dimensional (3D) printing parts are components used to feed, heat, control, deposit, and support printing material during an additive manufacturing process. Common 3D printer parts include extruders, nozzles, print beds, hot end components, and thermistors.

3D Platform (3DP), a PBC Linear brand, offers large-format 3D printers, extruders, nozzles, and related components for industrial additive manufacturing. These systems are used to produce near-net-shape parts and large printed components while helping reduce machining requirements, production time, and development costs.

3DP extruders control the heating and flow of thermoplastic filament as material is deposited layer by layer. The HFE (High Flow Extruder) is rated for 2–16 times the extrusion speed of a Volcano® extruder, while the HFA (High Flow Air-Cooled) uses an air-cooled design for thermal management. Filament is not sold by 3DP.

Extruder nozzles are available from 0.40 mm to 2.50 mm for HFA, HFE 300, and Volcano® models. Smaller nozzle diameters are generally used for finer detail, while larger diameters allow greater material flow and thicker layers for faster printing.

Additional 3D printer parts include a one-meter-square glass print bed and hot end thermistors for temperature measurement and control. Together, these components support large-format and industrial three-dimensional printing applications.
